Richard Ridings was born on September 19, 1958 in Henley-on-Thames, England as Richard John Ridings. He is an actor and composer, known for The Pianist (2002), The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999) and Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011). He has been married to Catherine Jensen since 1984. They have two children.
