Raised in Muscle Shoals, Alabama by maternal grandparents and aunt. Received BA Communications from University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Formerly a field reporter for CBS, ABC and Fox news affiliates. Studied acting at the acclaimed Atlantic Acting School (Atlantic Theatre Co.) New York City.
